Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Receipt, a local-first subscription tracker that helps you identify cancel candidates. They also govern optional Receipt Everywhere account and sync features when those features are made available.

By using Receipt, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

Use Of Receipt

Receipt is provided to help you organize subscription information and estimate unused subscription spend. You are responsible for entering accurate subscription names, prices, billing cycles, domains, and usage information.

Receipt does not provide financial, legal, tax, or cancellation advice. Wasted-spend numbers are estimates based on the subscription data and usage dates stored in your browser.

Free Tier And Pro License

Receipt includes a free tier for tracking up to 5 subscriptions. Receipt Pro unlocks unlimited subscription tracking.

Receipt Pro is sold as a one-time purchase for EUR 9.00 unless a different price is shown at checkout. A Pro purchase issues a license key that can be entered in Receipt Settings.

License activation limits may apply. Keep your license key private and do not share it publicly.

Payments

Payments, checkout, tax handling, receipts, and license delivery are handled by Creem. Receipt does not process or store your payment card details.

Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed through the payment provider and applicable consumer protection rules. Contact receipt@sandalow.net if you need help with a purchase.

Privacy And Local Data

Receipt stores your subscription list, prices, settings, and usage dates locally in Chrome extension storage. Receipt does not send your subscription list or browsing activity to its server.

Receipt Everywhere

Receipt Everywhere is an optional account service for synchronization, backup, and cross-device results. It is separate from the one-time Receipt Chrome Pro license. Receipt Everywhere may use Apple in-app purchases for its mobile plans; it does not make Screen Time access a paid feature.

You may sign out, pause sync, export your cloud data, delete synced cloud data, or close the Receipt Everywhere account through account controls when available. Account closure removes Receipt cloud data and account access after a fresh confirmation. It does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage cancellation through Apple.

Availability And Changes

Receipt is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Features, pricing, and availability may change over time. We may update these terms when the product changes.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Receipt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or missed subscription cancellations.
